The idea behind the still life was to shoot something to do with gambling, so i used cards, dice, and poker chips all under unnatural light. Thankfully these pictures turned out excellent compared to the others. I chose a full inside instead of near a window to capture the environment the poker stuff usually are in. Overall the project went excellent with crystal clear pictures, but with sadly no natural light, but that can be edited in Photoshop.
The first one I edited to capture that rush and excitement of winning big and gambling by highlighting and emphasizing colors. While taking this picture I wanted to try to capture the importance of them, and how much people can focus on it.
The second picture is supposed to demonstrate the stress in gambling, either from losing or as a last hope to pay off all debts.
The third one isn’t focused on the object itself but on the environment surrounding the objects. Bright, colorful lights, flashing slot machines, the entire casino vibe.
